No, the natural forces of nature aren't a God. As for your Atheists pushing the nuclear bomb aren't you aware Harry Truman order the Atom Bomb to be drop on Japan and he was a Baptist.

No. Just because we believe in various forces does not mean we make them our gods. You may believe that the earth is flat and motionless which is why you don't fly off it and that apples want to be on the ground which is why they fall but most would attribute it to the law of gravity and not the god of gravity.

As far as nukes, both use of nuclear weapons in history have been initiated and carried out by Christians.

Does this mean theists don't believe in the laws of physics? I think there are few Christians who will agree with that statement.

Atheists simply have the same *general* beliefs about the nature of the world as anyone else (e.g. that gravity exists, that light contains energy, etc), but without the *specific* beliefs of different religions about the deeper meanings in life.

No, Atheists just choose to reside in the reality-based world. Why do you find it strange that they do not believe in imaginary beings – or forces?

Feel like you were denied critical, need-to-know information?

That's the problem with Atheists, they just do not organize like good herd animals. Maybe someone should prepare a memo about some of the problems resulting from all this independent and individualistic behavior.

If you really need to call universal forces "God", that's up to you. I've made a different choice.

But isn't it the Christians who are after world destruction? They just call it Armageddon so it sounds better.

Oh cool! I didn't know we all had ACCESS to those nuclear weapons.

Was there an Atheist memo circulated which I didn't get or something? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I'm on the mailing list...

Why do Christians have such a hard time understanding what the word Atheist means? Is it a mental defect? Atheist means no god. Period.

I do not believe or have faith in the law of physics, etc. I trust them to be true due to scientific tests and their validity.

Most of the wars on the planet are religious in nature, it is more likely one of them will start a war. Blind faith makes people crazy.

The only person to detonate a Nuclear Weapon was Harry Truman, a Christian.
