I am actually a year younger than my fellow sophomores so I wouldn't be dramatically older than students in grad school...I'm already tired of having been in school for the last 14 years so I think a break is well in order...any thoughts?

If I were you I would just go straight to grad school. If you have come this far already to achieve your goals, then why not continue to pursue what you are going for. You can always relax after your studies are done. Cause if you take a break now then you just might not be able to go back later. We don't know what our future holds for us. Take advantage of your abilities. You will never have another chance later on.

Good Luck, I wish you the best in what ever you decide.

If I were you, I'd just stick it out. You never know what could come up in that year break. I know it must be rough, especially being in school for so long but you really should just stick it out. It's hard to get back into the groove of school after having such a long break.

I would say, take a year off, get a job, save some money and apply for grad school!! Trust me, you'll have sooo much more money saved up for the things you'll need/want and you'll gain such a greater appreciation for school and furthering your education.

Yes, Take A Break!!!! After I finished High School I went straight into College, that was a big mistake, I missed school because I was so tired off it. So, take some time off and that will freshen you up for school again. Otherwise, you won't put your best effort into your studies. : )

Take a year off. Get some life experience. Enrich your life outside of a classroom. See what the world has to offer.
