how to curl my hair and keep it like that all day?

how can i curl my hair and kep it like that all day long uk products please.iv tryed moose but it didnt stay curly for long and iv used curling tongs and that didnt work.anyone know what i could do

There are three ways that I know of.

1. Use a curling iron. Use hairspray while it is in the iron, and as soon as you take the hair out of the iron. Don't be stingy with the hairspray, you need to use a generous amount.

2. Use curlers. You can use hot rollers or the regular kind that you put in wet hair. Hot rollers generally need to be in for a few hours. The other ones usually need to be left in over night. As soon as you take both kinds out, use hairspray.

3. If you just want a simple curl, or a crimp then you can dampen your hair and either curl it around your fingers and hairspray, or for a crimp you can take a bunch of it and bring it up and squeeze it, then hairspray.

My main point is, you need hairspray if you want it to stay in all day long. And don't brush your hair afterward...but sometimes if you use a pick it will be fine, just don't pull on your hair when you are doing it. If you have longer or thicker hair try mega or ultra hold hairspray. Thinner and shorter hair can be held in place with regular hold.

What you should do is dry your hair with a volumizing hair dryer then use a roller brush so your hair has oomph and dried quick. Then when you are done spray with hair spray make sure it's aresol because it distributes evenly. then run your curling iron at a med-med high heat then when done put your head down like you are bowing then hair spray the back rustle it up with your finger tiips and the flip back up and do the same thing above. dont move till it all drys!!! very important. The products I use are called Kenra you can only buy in salon but this web site will help you find a salon that sells it. Use the max hold hair spray for tight curls of flips,and lighter hold on a wavy look. If you can't get Kenra use any kind of hair spray just as long as the technic is done right. after you curl it with the tongs or the hot rollers, let the curls cool, then give them a quick spurt of hairspray before you fluff them. Also, if you don't have a good cut, or the ends are split and your hair is long and heavy, that'll pull the curls out in no time.

This takes a little bit of time, but the night before use little strips of cloth (such as a cut up t-shirt) to wrap your hair around. Put on a curling cream and then take sections of your hair and wrap them around the strips of cloth. When it gets to your roots fold the two ends of cloth up and tie it in a knot. Do this all over your head. When you wake up in the morning, your hair will be curled and set in pretty good. It is a lost softer to sleep on the cloth than curlers. It really works wonders!

Wash your hair the night before so its a little bit greasy, then section it and curl each strand a hair using GHDs.Twist and harispray the piece of hair and then let it drop into place, repeat until finished and then hairspray all over. i have the most drop dead straight hair but i love curly hair....i used to use moose and everything...theres a product which is called L'oreal heat defence curling spray...its the one beyonce advertises....its a shocking barbie pink coloured bottle. Its amazing...it curls your hair and stops it from getting damaged....just spray it on your hair before, curl you hair, then use a normal hair spray after and your curls will stay. Just don't forget with straight hair your curls are gradually gonna come out, so avoid playing with it and the wind etc.

First you will have to purchase the plastic, magnetic, snap on rollers with the smooth barrel and a bottle of setting lotion.

Apply the setting llotion to wet/damp hair then roll up your hair. Your curls will last all day, with body, shine and bounce.

what i recently learned, im a slow learner-but when i dye my hair it makes my hair vulnerable to whatever style so, im able to put curlers in if i decide i want to curl it and the curls will last a long time-with some maintenance

i use this one hairspray frizz free i think its by l'oreal the label is green and it works really great and is very light

I know this sounds lame but I still use rollers at night they are the only thing that the curls will stay all day with out spray even
