They have special hair thinning scissors for sale in many stores, and they work great.

You can get it thinned out by your hairdresser with special scissors. If you straighten your hair, it would be good to invest in a straightening iron that reaches very high temperatures. My hair is crazy thick, but I can get it to look straight and sleek with an iron that reaches about 350 F. Also, it helps to add an anti-frizz creme, or a product with oil in it, because that helps thick hair to be sleek.

Thick hair is beautiful! Just use a difrizzer or something Infusium is great. No one wants thin lifeless hair. Embrace the thickness.

I have pretty thick hair and at my salon they "thin-out" my hair with a razor blade. it works really well, making my neck feel a lot better when I put my hair up. You can do it yourself and either use a razor-blade or buy the funny "clipper" scissors...

what i recently learned, im a slow learner-but when i dye my hair it makes my hair thinner, this wont last for long but it works for a week or too. also, im able to put curlers in if i decide i want to curl it and the curls will last a long time-with some maintenance

layers help a lot.i happen to have thick hair to.the layers give it volume on top...but make it a lil' more sparse on the bottom.plus they look cute.also professional hair straighteners work a lot better.i go to sally's for mine because they have a 5year warranty.

when you get your haircut than ask them to thin it out for you.they have these special scissors that do it they are really cool. i have really thick hair and when i asked them to do it they really helped!! Or also you can get layers that keep it lighter thinner and look superr cute....! JUST MAKE SURE..than you dont make your hair TOO thin because thick haired people are lucky but too thin hair looks gross.

go to a salon and ask to have it thinned. it should cost maybe $10-15 dollars or so.
