Yes they are. I have bought from them probably 20-25 times over the years with NO problems ever. They are not always the rock bottom price, but they ARE fair and honest. They will never take an order without letting you know it is out of stock, for instance, unlike some other dealers who are happy to put a hold against your charge card.

Hi, if you mean the store in NYC, yes.
I got my camera there and they are very knowledgeable. However, if you go into the actual store, it is an absolute zoo. However, they all really know what they are talking about. At least in my opinion and experience. I never felt like they were trying to pressure me and make me buy undue things.
But, I assume you are buying online. But if you have any questions, there is a contact number on their website. If you feel unsure, call them and ask them a few questions to see if you feel right about buying it from there.

I've bought hundreds of feet of film from both bhphoto and calumet photo. Both companies have treated me well. Recently I was looking for a converter for a NixVue that would allow it to read directly from SD. Although neither company had what I wanted they had lots of plan B's for me to consider. In short, I use them and then are knowledgeable.
