i'm 14 and i'm freaking out cuz i've never dated a guy, nor kissed a guy and when i look at my class, i see that even the fattest girl has had a boyfriend and the ugliest girl as well so i don't know what to think! my 3 friends are also in same situation as me (we're kinda nerdy but not ugly nor fat!) but the rest of the 9th graders all have a boy/girlfriend and some even had sex!... it scares me to see that even my little brother (2 years younger than me) has had a girlfriend AND kissed before - i feel like a loser. because when i look at myself, i don't find myself ugly nor fat so i really don't understand! i mean, i'm not a bimbo with huge breasts and i don't wear any make up nor wear slutty clothes if THAT'S what attracts guys. and, another BIG problem: i'm really really tall for my age (6 feet) and guys my age are smaller! do i have a problem? normally, you get your first kiss in preschool... at what age did all these things happen to you? I'M FREAKING OUT!

No, you're not freaking out....you are only 14. I didn't have my first boy-friend until I was 19, almost 20. I learned quick though or so I am told. ;) Don't believe in all the sex-stories you hear. From experience, the people who always brag about how good they are in bed or how often they've done it are either virgins or wet-noodles in bed.
P.S. I'm 30 and don't wear make-up or slutty clothes nor do I have large breasts, and trust me men turn to look at me or pay me compliments more often than you would believe.

Don't feel bad - I didn't date until I was in college. I didn't kiss my first girl until I was 21..
