It may be that she doesn't want to see anyone else but ... that's the usual reason. Or perhaps she's just getting tired of you. Either way, probably bad news, sorry to say.

How do you know that she doesn't want to see other people? I understand that is what she said...but when someone says "let's just be casual"...that means we are open to others. Don't be stupid my friend...because once she finds someone else she will be telling you to hit the road!
She is trying to break up with you...and she probably hopes while you are both "in casual relationship" mode, you will find someone else to date. I know this because I have used that excuse to many times because I never had the courage to break it off.

It depends, if it is one of many girlfriends as the question implies, then she has probably sensed she is not the only one and wants to make you think a bit, and make you want her more.
If she is your only girlfriend then she is slowing things down because she thinks she has a chance with someone else but likes you enough not to want to hurt you.
Either way it does not look good.

take it with respect. don't go off with other girls. don't give her a hard time about it, she is being honest. she doesn't want to leave you, just needs time to herself. respect her decision and let her make the decision when to be together again.
if she says its not to see what else is out there, i would believe her. sometimes you just need to be by yourself.
don't forget to call her and talk to her though, once in a while. or she will be hurt and think that you are not interested and that she broke your heart.

Maybe you are moving too fast, chasing her too much.Or pressuring her for sex. If she doesn't want to see anyone else just relax and give her some space and time.

give her the time but not too much.because can also be an excuse for her to date someone else.so pay close attention to actions but also ask yourself should i put my all into this relationship so step back analyze with this casual break.

She wants you to stop calling her or stopping by so much so she has time to explore this other guy she's found to see if she likes him better than you.

Shes' lying thru her teeth, she already has somebody in mind and wants to see if you'll still be around when it doesn't work out
