Since there are millions of sperm during one sex act, enough to impregnant every woman in the world, it would appear to be random. However, I believe God had a big hand in the 'natural selection' process.

i wasn't "created" by my parents, they didn't sit in a lab mixing chemicals and "voila" i came into being... nor did I, personally, randomly come into existence over a long period of time (unless you think 9 months is long)

I believe I know what you are getting at, that whole "creationism" theory verses the evolution theory.
My belief is that, because of evolution, my parents were born of their parents who were born of their parents etc, etc. If you go back far enough, you will find proof that somewhere along the line, yes, my ancestors were monkeys. AND I'M OK WITH THAT DUMBA$$!

Why do you imagine that there are only two answers to this question? Perhaps there is another answer which is not "created by your parents", or "just randomly come into existance..." ?
Open your mind a little further & realize there are other possibilities.

You are using the term created very loosely. My mother gave birth to me. It has taken a life time of experience to become what I am now, which changes with each new experience. My existence on earth was facillitated by my parents, but they certainly have not "created" who I am.

Only God can create (make something out of NOTHING). He equipped your parents with the chromosomes, genes, etc. to reproduce. God chose the moment of your birth a long time ago and nobody comes into being by chance.
