I always remember the spelling of the words like this.....you have to "lose" (pronounced looz) the "o" to say lose instead of loose. Get it? Lose the "o" in loose. Loose fitting clothes. Lose the clothes.

Using loose means that is it hanging or not tight. Lose it to lose something or to use it in a sentence, "This nut on this bolt is too loose, I will have to get a smaller size." "Don't lose my house keys."
