Ok... so if we have no proof that there is a hell... then what about the devil and where do people go that don't believe in god? I thought they went to hell?

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus tells the Devil to depart from Him, and that "everlasting fire" was prepared for the Devil and his angels.

I'm so glad you're reading the bible! But you won't find Hell in there and if you do it has been mistranslated. Hell is not scriptual. There is no eternal damation or burning in hell.. It is all a false doctrine created to keep people afraid of sinning against the church. God is Love. He doesn't want to see anyone suffer. His four main qualities are love, wisdom, power and justice. Our heavenly Father would not condemn us to something that horrible. Keep reading.. ask for help if you stumble. Contact your local kingdom hall or email me.. if you want any guidance.. i love learning about and teaching the bible

The devil was casted out of Heaven (he is an angel or was until he became evil now hes a demon) onto Earth. Where he is now. He will stay here until Jehovah restrains him which he will for a thousand years. Before allowing him one final hooplah before he is destroyed. People that don't believe in God will be resurrectated after armagedon. They are just asleep in death. That is how Jesus describes death, sleeping, being aware of nothing.

heres a few you might want to read,,,,

The lake of fire is what I would call Hell, if I used that term. It is used in Rev 14:10,11; 19:20; 20:10,14,15; 21:8. Fire used with other words and phrases: Gehenna (Mat 5:22; 18:9); Wailing and gnashing of teeth (Mat 13:37-42,47-50); Eternal (Mat 18:8; 25:41-46; Jud 7); Not quenched (Mk 9:43-48); Indignation (Heb. 10:27) and tormented (Rev. 14:10,11).

Matthew 25:40-42
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink"
And hell IS in the bible. do you know who talked more about HELL than anyone? Jesus. Why? Because he doesn't want anyone to go there!
check out this bible web site. you can search a subject or bible verse and see how it was translated with hebrew or Greek.

It doesn't, if you read an antique Bible (pre 1600's) you cannot even find the word hell in them. That was added by the catholic church to put fear into people so they could sell indulgences.

Regarding you second comment, At judgment day the unbelieving will be cast into the Lake of Fire. This is different than hell and it will consume them and destroy them so that they no longer exist, this is referred to the second death.
