I am educated. I'd even say that I am more educated and well-rounded than most of the people I encounter who have obtained degrees. It just seems so absurd.

School is so important. Learning is so important. Don't waste your educational opportunities. Even if the occupation you want to doesn't require a degree, there are so many other benefits to being an educated person. Please

Your education determines many aspects of your life. From whether you can afford health insurance for your family, or a new car or yearly vacations. It could also determine whether you you are lucky enough to able to own a home.

You didn't mention what it is you want to do. The best type of job is a job you like to do. So get an education in the field of your interest, and then a job in that field. Then you could have both the education and the fun of doing what you want to do.

No it is always good to keep your options open. What ever it is you want to do you should do it but ask yourself how being in that occupation will benefit you in the long run. How much money will you make a year? Will you be able to maintain the lifestyle that you want without a job that requires a degree? There are not many job options for those who do not have a degree this day in time.

You probably shouldn't just give up on school. Can you try to do both? It is always good to have a degree in case the other stuff falls apart, which I hope it doesn't. Good luck.
