I want to make some cookies for my boyfriend for valintines just wondering if there will be any difference in taste/hardness etc if i cook them tonight or tomorrow?

I think you should cook them the night before to make them cool off for the night just put a dry paper towel on top of the batch of cookies when you go to sleep and in the morning put them in the refrigerator until he comes

As long as you store them properly they should be fine if you cook them tonight. I tend to think cookies taste better slightly warm though.

make the dough tonight and put it in the refrigerator and bake them in the morning, I always let cookie sit over night it gets hard and there easier to handle and they stay fluffy and don't go flat.

if you like a softer cookie, you can cook them tonight then put them in a tuperware container then put a piece of bread in with them, they will stay soft, when the piece of bread dries out disard that piece and add a fresh piece

seal your cookie in a container and adda piece of bread..... The bread will turn hard and your cokkies will remain the way they were when they came out of the oven
