Well, he's not "in love", he's 7... but there's nothing wrong with him having a little innocent crush... let him give her a card that says he likes her... maybe they can hold hands on the playground... awww... :P

Let him give her a card, but post it to her in the post to the girls' house.
Don't listen to the teachers - why do you care?
1. Dont be all 'Ahhhhhh! Hes got a girlfriend, hes got a girlfriend' because this will put him off and he might even split up with her
2. Be casual. This is the best and most simple trick of all. Be yourself and you will get along fine.
3. Dont put too much umph into it! - Don't arrange dates or anything - they are too young! Instead, dont suggest or anything but arrange play dates etc or leave it so they can only meet up at school etc
And there you are! Follow these three rules and you will be fine!

It's all play at that age. Don't worry, they aren't going to run off together and get married in Vegas any time soon. Sure, as adults, you can say they are too young but it's still all pretend to them. Like playing fireman, he's too young to fight fires but he can go thru the motions.
The best thing is to keep the communications open with the kids and explain things as they arise. Explain to them what "love" means. What happens when you tell a kid "No, don't do that"?...The head straight for it. Give them as much information as appropriate and they'll start to see for themselves.

It's a crush or puppy love. It's not romantic love or love as adults know it. You know this already. I don't see a question, but there's nothing wrong with having him learn how to express his feeling, in my opinion. Kids have great capacity for love and empathy. Let him explore.
If the teacher of a class of 7 year olds don't understand this, I question the quality of the teacher.

They are 7... What are they going to do have little kid sex? NO! I think it is important that you support your son and him expressing his feeling. This is why there are so many dogs (men and women) in the world. And I think that it would be very nice if they could hang out and watch a movie with supervision. Just make sure you set rules...

If you dismiss his feelings now don't expect him to come to you when he's a teenager.
His teacher is wrong.
There are different kinds of love. Love for a parent, love for a pet, love for a friend, love for a special friend, and when he gets older, love for a mate.
He shouldn't be told to stop telling people in his life he cares about them just because someone else has a filthy mind.

have self assurance me i'm like that too. i'm 14 happening 15 and that i recognize the way you experience. I broke that habit awhile in the past although. What helped me is that I went out of my thanks to be...more desirable outgoing. i might want to encompass myself with close acquaintances and then shall we do something loopy! no longer undesirable!!!! only loopy relaxing, woman stuff. pass out someplace in public with alot of human beings and only mingle! it really is a lot more desirable comforting to attempt this with acquaintances, yet have self assurance me it particularly works. i replaced into shy and insecure and couldnt examine with alot of girls. If a guy got here as a lot as me ignore it! Now it really is a lot more desirable relaxing to do something! I advise it. pass out and performance relaxing

Why would his teacher have any say in this? It's not like they're going to get married. So let him write what he wants.
