I have naturally dirty blond hair. I dyed it brown with highlights. I did this at home with box products. It looks great, I was really happy with it. So now how do I touch it up? I need the brown parts to stay brown but don't want to ruin my highlights.

Please don't tell me to go to a salon. They are expensive, and I can't stand being in them.

I would use the root touch-up kit
it has a color matching formula

You just buy the stuff at the store, the colors u want, weather it z highlights or lowlights and touch ups or not (it will say), and read the directions on the package. It's pretty easy. I did it to myself...Well, I had my friend do it to me actually.

pull your highlights out the way then just put the dye on the hair that is needed or buy the box and go by the directions
