prayer in school is going to prevent kids from killing eachother? and doing drugs?

i went to a christian school, and i saw far more drugs and alochol then i did when i went to a public school. i also found that at the public school, they actually teach u job-related skills, whereas my christian school i was taught the bible.

so is there a reason people think prayer needs to be implemented in schools? im sure your well aware with the fact that kids can pray in their heads, but they need to be paying attention in class as well?

my last question regarding this, leads me to believe people would much rather keep their children stupid and praying then teach them skills for the future.

maybe thats why the world is so screwey.

I personally believe we should teach it all K-12 and let them come to the conclusion on their own- not as children but as adults.
I am talking evolution, creationism, Darwinism, satanism, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism...
How can an a person an uneducated choose free will effectively? Education.
I believe that to force only certain teachings is questioning God's power. What are we afraid of- God can handle it.
Who are we to set the limits. that's how many biases are formed- negative or positive.

For the first part of your question...

Prayer in school is very beneficial, because it gives the children an opportunity to talk to God, even if they aren't getting that at home. Obviously, you based a lot of what you believe off of individuals. Look at the collective. Danger in school has never been this bad. School have become Satan's playground. You won't get away from evil - I realize that. Jesus' return will wipe away evil. But you can aid the good. Prayer will lessen the evil to the point that kids aren't suffocated by death and deceit (from classmates and teachers) while in class.
I sorry to see you lost faith, but you should come back to the light.

As for the part about the trades you learn in public/christian school is a perfect example of what Jesus went through during his visit to earth (if you remember). He constantly stayed in sync with God's word. As a kid, he was always with those learning the word. They had engineers, musicians, retail shops, law enforecers, even magicians back then. He stayed in God's word. He also taught people that there is more to life than the craft you perform. You'll learn that talent, but you can go a lot further with a strong Spirit.

These schools are meant to do a few things for younglings. Apparently, you may have missed one of them. Step back and look at the world for a minute. If God isn't in the schools, then who is?

Yah worldliness is everywhere....what is important is to raise your kids to know the Lord, and pray they will be grounded in His truth and walk in His ways.....the good thing about christian schools, is they do pray together and study the bible- But yes many kids rebel. Some are weaker than others, and some are just not rooted firmly in the word of God, or saved for that matter. Many kids go to christian schools that are not even saved because their parents think they will be safer there. But profanity and bullying is everywhere.

Dear friend, I believe that belief is very important in every body life and a man without belief is nothing, but it should be taught that belief can not be obtained only by forceful prayer because praying is just like hunger and thirst, we should feel it and then we should go behind it. secondly these people believe that praying is just some words to be said by tongue and they don't understand the real prayer is our thought and feeling towards the God, and social duty and the performance .

Well that is the point.. should we all give up and say it doesn't matter?
Well it does matter.. that is why we should pray for an answer cause the government and the private sectors have basically given up its totally out of control. That will just lead to chaos in our society. That is NOT a good thing.

OK , smarty pants. I know for a fact , kids are dumber today than ever. Prayer has nothing to do w/smarts. It's a evil world . I went to public school and everybody smoked ,drank ,and had sex. and drugs. We just didn't get caught doing it. Praying is healthy . GOD BLESS

Don't people already have places to pray--church, mosque, synagouge etc? Just like all the people who go to church on sunday morning still hungover from saturday night, it won't to anything to change kids behavior.
