I accidently signed my name on my stepdaughter's tax form, how will this effect our returns?

if they are awake and check it, they will simply send back for her signature. good chance they will miss it though so no impact

It could get rejected - but chances are nobody will notice and nothing will happen. If you didn't already mail it, draw a line through your signature and have her sign it. If you mailed it already, don't worry about it.

They will probably not refund it until it is signed by the correct person.

it shouldn't effect anything...signatures are over rated
