In the past year every guy that has asked me out has been either crazy or desperate. By desperate I mean begging after I have told them I'm not interested. After 6 months if you don't feel anything you can't make yourself feel anything. Why is this happening? I meet these people through other people I know and at the gym. Its not like I'm meeting them at a bar or something.

You cannot make yourself feel something you don't, you are right there. But I don't think I would date anyone for six months either if I wasn't feeling it after a few dates. Maybe you just need to date less exclusively for a while until you feel that you are with someone you want to be more long term with.

Because you intimidate normal guys. It's like the first answer, you need to check yourself and see what kind of messages/signals your sending out without knowing. Some girls don't realize that if and when they dress a certain way, guys are gonna be attracted to them like moths to light. If you dress or move in a way that turns guys on, you'll either have to live with it or change your ways or the places you hang out...or something. It's up to you, not the weirdos.

Dry Spells happen = It is part of the human nature. I hit a spot like that for a while and I decided to stop dating. I stopped dating for 8 months and just focused on me and my family and friends etc. I had a lot of fun and then BAM -= I met my Soul mate ..... or I thought she was my Soul Mate.... but that is a different story.
Just be positive - maybe kick the bad ones to the curb sooner than 6 months though.

What is 'normal'? Everyone has 'something different' about themselves , that's why we're all unique. But they say what a person 'puts out' (attitude, etc) is what type of person you'll attract.Maybe you should 'check' yourself. You may be coming across compleley different than you want. Ask a close friend to describe you, see what they say, then make adjustments if you have to.

hey it could be worse you could have a "psycho magnet". i've never been in a relationship where the girl has treated me right, maybe i'm a fool, but they way see it, only mean girls like me, that's how it has been since i was 16. Life is so cruel.

in time the right person will come along. maybe your expectations of these people are a little high? maybe you have erected barriers aroung you feeling due to a bad realtionship? who knows? give it time.
