I have a friend (and no, it's not me, geez) who has come to me with some disturbing news. Over the course of a couple years she says feelings in her have manifested themselves that leave her feeling moody and hostile. She has recently become introverted, indifferent and other times sad for no apparent reason. But these are only the beginning of a rather bizarre tale. She told me that lately she has been having nightmares more frequently where see sees a dark figure in her dreams that it is a bit hostile. She says that while awake at night she sometimes catches glimpses of it out of the corner of her eye and at times she feels fine and others she feels this complete sense of dread come over her. Lately she told me, she has felt fatigued and not herself. Almost out of it at times and I was wondering if it could be a case of minor possession? I am just asking because she is religious and I'm not. She mentioned this just briefly and I was wondering if anyone here might more that I? Thanks.

P.S. There is no known blood relatives in her family with schizophrenia (which I think is genetic).

If your friend is of The True Christian Faith then she can not be posessed. But demons can still atempt to torment her to some extent, though they can not directly cause her physical harm... it could just be that other emmotional struggles are causing her mental disturbance...... but... it also could be some form of evil influence...If she is of The True Christian Faith she needs to seek councel from her Church leaders... if she is not truly of The Faith she is alone as are all others who are so suffering... it is only The Authority of Jesus The Christ that can protect from, and ward off, demonic Spirits

How about just a hormone imbalance? Erratic behavior does not necessarily mean demon possession it can be a series of medical disorders....
Sometimes our diet at night can give us nightmares.....
By the way there is no such thing as a minor demon possession...

The devil never fully has control over our body, mind or spirit. But that being said he and his agents can influence us severly. I think what you are describing is not demonic possesion but rather being tormented by demons. If I was your friend I would pray to Jesus while having these dreams and ask Jesus to save you from satan and sin and to clean her in the blood of the lamb. I would also insist that your friend pray and ask God to deliever her from the Bondage of satan and sin in the name of Jesus ofcourse. If all else fails I would consult medical advice as this could be psycosis or shizophernia.

What's considered "minor" demonic possession? The way that I see it, you're either possessed or you aren't. Does a minor possession indicate a demon who is smaller in size? Or just the possession of certain parts of you, like just your big toe being demon possessed?
Okay, all kidding aside, she needs to see a therapist. Its not a demon, its an emotional/mental problem. She needs to get help ASAP.

It sounds very much like your friend could be suffering from a schizophrenia, or perhaps some form of depression. It has nothing to with demons. Don't take her to a priest, take her to a good psychiatrist who will try and help her.

If she is religious, like you say she is, the best thing to do is pray. She might not be strong enough in her relationship with God and may be coming under attack from the enemy. He makes her feel like that and interrupts her thoughts. She needs to pray that she may be strong and that all this be removed from her life.

Sounds like a case of depression to me. She has a problem that could easily be solved by an anti-depressant,

Is that like being a little bit pregnant? What is a "minor" possession? Maybe she's hallucinating.

Sure this can happen to followers of the Lord as satan loves to try and turn them away from Jesus, but I wonder if your friend has been silly enough to have messed around with anything superstious in an occult way?
