this is not fair to you, and I think he is just leading her on, trying to make her jealous, because she sees that he is happy and taken and she wants that back. Hold on tight and tell her to buzz off. If he doesn't stop comparing you to her, nicely tell him that you've had enough of him talking about her and if he is truly over her, please stop bringing her up to you. He needs to respect and love you, and leave her far behind. This is why boyfriends should cut all ties with ex girlfriends, it just means trouble

I wouldn't stay with someone who compares me to an ex... and just so you know, I've been in the same boat - I had a b/f who said his ex wanted him back and he just brushed her off.. but what really happened was he tried to get back with her and she gave in... it was all him, so you'd better take his words with a grain of salt b/c he's probably not telling the truth.

Why worry about what others do = you can only control your own behavior - you can do anything about other people's behavior.

If he is with you now - have fun - and do not worry about the ex. THere will always be exs - they do not matter unless you make them matter - do not get caught up in the drama.

Have fun

If your boyfriend is comparing you to his ex, he still has feelings for her. That compared with the fact that he is still in touch with her is something to be concerned about.

If he laughed at her that should be a clear sign that he's secure in his current relationship with you. Don't sweat it, she'll probably stop calling or atleast give on the notion of reuniting after being laughed at.

If he just laughed at her, I wouldn't be too concerned. It seems he is obviously with who he wants to be with...you.

Oh as far as comparing you to his ex...I would politely tell him that he needed to cut that out. You are not his ex and you do not need to be compared to her. I would definitely not allow that behavior. It is insulting.

When he compares you to his ex- and indicates that he preferred her over you then give him the heave-ho...otherwise, just tell him that you are tired of being compared with that other lady in his life.

Don't you think he should respect you and stop talking to her?
Tell him she told you she is not going to rest until they get back, and that you don't feel that happy about him talking to someone who feels that way, what would he do in your position, but avoid to be a nagging GF, guys hate that, show him you are more mature than her, but you are not going to stand for that, you don't need drama in your life, right?

Can anybody answer mine!!!!????

I think he laughed at her for a reason... You should do what you think is right, nobody knows your relationship like YOU do. If you don't like it then maybe you should talk to him about it not yahoo answers.

Tell him that although you know it is over between him and her, it hurts you when gives her so much attention. Then the ball is in his court to reassure you. If he cares about you he will become more sensitive to your feelings about this.
