Security. If she knows your deepest secrets...and the darker the better, she can use them as collateral against you. She basically has you by the balls for life. Don't, I repeat...DON'T DO IT!!!

Control! Think about it. Your deepest secret is probably not very flattering. If she know you darkest secret it becomes a weapon when things end up not going well in a relationship.

If it's a secret that no one else knows, I have to assume it's something you wouldn't EVER want anyone to know. Unless she's taking a cyanide pill as you tell her, don't do it.
Today you're friends, tomorrow she's annoyed at you and tells someone else. Or next year. Or when she gets drunk.
Trust me...unless you're ready for your deepest secret to become public, keep your mouth shut.

subconsciously it makes you feel more superior to other friends/girlfriends. The classic i know more than you know type deal. Kind of like when you know your boss likes you more than all the other co-workers because he secretly told you how much money he makes. Or she plotting against you and is going to take you down the minute you tell her. It could be either one.

I would say she's nosy. I do admit that I'm a very private person, but my friends know almost all of my secrets. If someone is persistent ("C'mon! Tell Me!!!!"), I won't tell them anything.
