Sue his A5S. He cannot abandon his children and expect to not have repercussions. Go after him for child support and spousal support(I know you weren't married, but it is still worth trying for).

you need legal advise straight away. He can stop paying the mortgage, he can stop paying for everything. If he works a court can order that he pays maintenance, this will be a percentage of his wage. It can take ages for the courts to sort it out, and i dont wana upset you but leaving you with all the mess and no money. Most solicitors give the first sitting free. Also If you are not working you need to contact the dept of work and pensions who will send you a mountain of paperwork, but you shud be able to claim income support, claim child tax credits if you already are as a joint claim with your ex, inform them immediately, this will help keep you going and at least pay the mortgage, but do it asap as although they will back date will take em about 6 weeks to sort it out, I feel so sorry for you, i hope it all works out x

I am sorry to hear this. He has a responsibility to provide for his two children and you. I always feel that men like him give us a bad name. He has a responsibility to pay the mortgage if he doesn't then he will put you in risk of being homeless. However if you live in the UK it might be possible for you to take on the mortgage in your own right, now you are single you will be entitled to claim tax credits so your own income will increase and it may be that you will be entitled to claim benefit for the house.

What you need to do, is go tomorrow to your local citizens advice centre and they will advise and guide you, help you fill in all the relevant forms. There are two most important things that you need to remember

1. You don't need this **** hole, you can cope on your own.
2. You may feel like your on your own, but your not! All you have to do is ask.

Just think at the end of all this you will become a better, stronger person then the **** hole who left you and the **** hole who he left you for.

Good Luck

Child abandonment is a serious offense no matter where you are. Call Children's Protection Services now. In the meantime, for the sake of the children try to stay calm and rational. I'm so sorry this louse did this unforgiveable act.

He has to pay child support for his children. With the mortgage it depends whose house it is and whose names are on the mortgage - it may be worth your while contacting citizens advice bureau or seek legal advice just in case he decides to not give you any money - the woman he has gone off with needs to mind her own business because she will be the one taking care of him when child support get hold of him

Evil wicked man. Sweetheart go get the solicitor and nail his *** to the wall. The other woman must be evil to the core tell him he has to pay the mortgage in a solicitors letter and do it fast

If you can not make the payments on your own I would start thinking about selling the house before you end up in forclosure. You will get child support but unless you were married or the house is in his name, he's not going to be ordered to keep up on the payments.

You should get a lawyer!

Half of your house should belong to you, so, as the last resort, you can sell it and move to a smaller house.
