When I want to dream about something specifically, I think about it alot right before I go to bed. But I never happen to really dream about it. Is it true that if you think about someting right before you go to sleep, you never actually dream about it? And is there any way to control your dreams, meaning control what you dream about?

You may dream about it but not remember it. Some say we dream the whole time we are asleep, but only can remember those dreams we have just before we wake up. I'd say just keep focusing on what you want to dream about, both before you go to bed and throughout the day and maybe someday you'll wake up in time to remember your dream. There are dream therapists, if you want to go to that extreme that could also help you out.

No such thing as never... false statement.

Research lucid dreaming, that will help teach yourself how to dream what you want and participate in the dreams.
