I can not recommend any lodges in Canada.
I highly recommend you pay a little more for a decent lodge because you get what you pay for. If you want to go cheap then good luck and do not complain when your expectations are not met because you only have yourself to blame.

Not exactly sure, but I've been to the Boundary Waters. If you want to enter MN in the US you can take out a canoe to the remote Boundary Waters. They have some good fishing there.
