I don't give my number to guys I know I will turn them down eventually by giving them false hopes. . .I have to be sure that I like him to continue. . .

Yep--I'm pretty picky. I don't want random dudes I've met calling me. So I only give my number to the ones I actually want to talk to, which would be one at a time.
All in all, I've only given my number out a handful of times, and they've all been to people I ended up dating.

I don't give out my number. I ask for the man's and if he is unwilling to give it to me or will just give me a cell or work number it will prove he's got something to hide. If the distrust is mutual then no number will be given. Nothing happens and that is that.

To get my number you have to work really hard, it takes more time than a quick line at a bar or a chance meeting. I met someone online and he nagged me for my number for two months before I gave it to him. We laugh about how hard it was to get to know me, but he likes the fact that I am not cheap and trusts me.
I date the men who take the time to get to know me first, he waited patiently everyday for two months before he could even talk to me. That is someone worth knowing.

I really dont give my number out. It takes a lot for me to give my number out to men.

They have to try really hard to get my number - by the time I've given it out to someone, I;ve already narrowed it down to him.

Very rarely, if I'm attracted to someone I will- If he's drunk,annoying etc- I'll give him the name of the police department. LOL :) Donna

to be honest not many, ive had loads of experiances of guys turning out 2 b weirdos, and sending me loads of dirty pictures and texts. i only giv my number 2 people ive already befriended and i trust.
