Eating alot of protein is going to be your biggest goal -
Foods high in protein you can eat --
Whey Protein
Soy Protein
Eggs (great source - often overlooked)
Cottage Cheese (and other diary) -- by far one of my favs -
great calorie to protein ratio
Nuts, Seeds, Beans
Vegetables
Tofu, Whole grains
By eating these foods, you can easily get plenty of protein in order to bulk up.
The amount of protein one should consume when bulking often varies according to different opinions - some even call for an individual to eat almost double their weight in grams of protein (ex. 180lbs = 360 grams of protein!). I personally think for individual trying to bulk, 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound will suffice (ex. 180lbs = 180 - 270 grams). ALSO - make sure you drink plenty of water - extremely important when consuming this much protein.
Want more? Creatine -- A key proponent of most bodybuilders and powerlifters. There are a few different types, therefore, if you are interested in taking Creatine, do a search and you'll find tons of information regarding its intake and variety (the site below is very useful also). It will definitely help you on your way to becoming bigger - just make sure you take it properly and drink PLENTY of water (again, very important).
Below are some sites that have great info.
1st - site listing several different types of vegetables and beans high in protein.
2nd - site that has various articles on bodybuilding/bulking for Vegetarians
3rd - site that lists articles dealing with all the aspects of Creatine

I would suggest taking a supplement. Creatine is a great way to bulk up. When taking this supplement you must work out at least 3-4 times a week. It increases your testosterone level so if you have a bad temper...be careful. I also suggest eating lots of nuts and drinking lots of milk. I don't know if you eat eggs but egg whites are a great source of protein. Good luck!

You can get these protein bars or protein shake mix things at the mall. The protein shake stuff is like chocolate milk mix, but it doesn't taste too great. The vanilla is downright disgusting. It's meant for bodybuilders who need LOTS of protein. You might want to check with a doctor to see just how much of this stuff you need. My parents do exercise at home once a day for fat loss and only do one shake a day.

Plenty of protein in vegetables, and if you're like me, you're lacto-ovo, so the dairy and eggs will add to your protein intake. I don't know if you're near one, but Whole Foods Market carries a vegetarian protein powder that you mix with milk (or soy milk. You could check at GNC as well.
Oops! Sorry, I just realized I wasn't in American Q & A, but I'm sure you can find the equivalent to the above mentioned stores.

Work out with as heavy weights as you can and eat nitrogen rich sources of vegetable protein like soy beans and other beans. Make sure you are completing your proteins with grains like rice or corn. Supplement your diet with vegetarian protein drinks. I go to Bodybuilding.com for my stuff.

Personally, i do not like beans! at all!....
but my mother is a vegetarian and during her pregnancy with my little bro's..the doctor told her that she needed more protein. Beans(soy beans are great) and tofu (which i believe is made from soy) is really high in protein.
They also have a lot of soy food products. Though i do not like soy beans/tofu..i eat these snacks called "soy chips"...they're like rice cakes, but they're made out of soy. ...
good luck.

Weight training is what you need. Beans should supply the protein.
