Have you tried parents and other relations? It is a good way to get a valuable but free wedding dress.

There is always E-bay if you are an easy size to fit. Also local thrift stores (Salvation Army) will usually carry a selection.
My best advice to you though is to check out www.makingmemories.org to see if they are going to be in your area soon. This is the website for Brides Against Breast Cancer an organization dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of terminally ill cancer patients. I found my dress there for $150. They have gowns that have been donated by other brides, designers and shops with values up to several thousands of dollars. They have all been cleaned if donated by a bride and most still have the original tags on them.
Hope this helps.

I'd hit the malls & start shopping. You don't say whether you want an actual wedding dress of something more informal. David's would be your best shot for something inexpensive. Unless you have a bridal shop at a local flea market. Even the internet is going to be tough finding a wedding dress for that price.

David's Bridal always have $99 sales and they have really nice dress'. They also offer store financing, like you can get a store credit card and they usually have no interest or payments for 6 months to a year. good luck

Skip the bridal shops and look at department stores for evening/prom dresses. I'm not sure what style your looking for but you should be able to find one pretty easily.

now and returned 2nd hand shops would have diverse wedding ceremony outfits, yet your maximum suitable guess would be to look for an basic white gown. in case you reside close to a purpose shop, check out white outfits that Isaac Mizrahi designed surprisingly for the shop. a mag article in bride's mentioned that they have got been very much less costly. solid good fortune!!!!

consider a prom dress i have seen very pretty white prom dresses and that don't cost to much they are not the Cinderella ball gowned type but are still very nice long and formal looking and as winter balls and proms are coming up you might find one out there

Hit the local second-hand stores and consignment shops. You can sometimes find fabulous items there for much cheaper than retail.
