have been assessed as without having to go via individual addresses. Eg a database that says 3 bedroom houses in x street are band c or 1 bedroom flats in y street are band a?

Council tax bands are not down to what street the house is on. The banding is based on the value of the property in 1991 and so cannot be worked out. Normally band A relates to properties with one or no bedrooms (studio's). I think it varies from council to council whether 2 bedroom properties are band A or band B. Try going to your district council's website as normally they have this kind of information there.

Hi, check out moneysavingexpert.com they have instuctions and links to find the details out, I have found that I'm in the wrong band & have make an appeal this info is there to, goodluck
