Indeed. That happens so often. My comfort about that is this: Even Jesus sighed.
"Then he looked up to heaven, sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened!" (Mark 7:34)

Many times. Some questions show the bias of the asker. No need to answer because the mind is closed. I try to look for sincere questions that I think I may have an answer to give or I look for ridiculous questions that deserve a ridiculous response.

I sit back and sigh about life in general every day. You can imagine How I sit and sigh when I am on Answers.
I had to return with something. I sigh at people that post they are in this terrible situation and they need help. Some of them have awful situations with their children, etc. You try and help them out and put everything you have into a helpful answer. And they put their question up to a vote and MONTHS later it is still UNANSWERED. I have wondered about those people and what has become of them......

Yup I have seen quite a few questions like that.
Some I just don't bother with, the ones that really require a biblical scholar or someone that loves wrestling with philosophical theory and logic.
Then there are the ones that are just plain insulting and stupid. Sometimes I actually answer those with the spirit in which they were written. I try not to take them personally.

first of all, thank you for asking such a great question!!!
Yes, it makes me sigh...to read some of these is painful to my spirit because so many people asking things that are disrespectful of all. I do not know of ANY religious teachings that says it's ok to be down right judgemental and cruel.
The saddest part of all is when people truely are asking for help or advise and they get squat just so somebody can get points!!
scrap the points and lets all just treat each other with respect.

Yes, and absolutely my heart breaks. Especially when I ask a question and it gets misconstrued. I really want to be open to people and their opinions. Mine isn't the right one- its just mine. That's my attitude. I sigh when people don't get that from my question/answer.
I really want to understand others- it just seems that they are so defensive they don't really want to be understood.
That makes me sigh.

Honey,
I usually sit back, sigh, and wonder why I'm not a rich princess. Then I sit up and shake it off.

Yeah, sometimes I just don't bother, some questions are not meant as questions but rather as sermons. Sometimes I'm sad for someone so lost.
