I understand that you are a fan of Tinkerbell, but it is a male! How about HOOK?

If you want a male Chihuahua...You wouldn't want to name it Tinkerbell as that is a girls name. If you like Disney movies how about naming the dog after another Disney character. Captain (Captain Hook), Pan (Peter Pan), Disney or one of the other many characters.

Yes Tinkerbell for a male dog is too gay.. I should know because I am :-)

I would suggest for a Male Chihuahua the following names:

Coco Beans

Cervesa

Tamale

Nipper

Sir Frijoles

If you named him Tinkerbell it would be very weird and people would also think that you might worship Paris Hilton or something to name your dog the same as hers. Try picking a boy name for him, he might appreciate it. Think of a male name in a Disney movie that you like.

I have always waited to see the animal first to see what it should be named. You need to experience its' personality. Tinkerbell is a little gay for a male dog, however if he is gay...maybe he would appreciate it. ha.

Try something more masculine for a name and behind closed doors, Tinkerbell can be your special "pet name" for him....no pun intended.

Well tinkerbell is a girls name, and also not that original as it is Paris Hilton's chihauhau's name.

In Mexico I met a chihahau named Kilo

I also like:
Amigo
Muchacha
Tiny

Or maybe use another name from Peter Pan instead of tinkerbell"
Peter
Hook (that would be cute)
Captain

Your dog won't care what his name is, but trust me, you'll get tired of explaining to every single person you meet that your dog is a male (and then justifying why you chose Tinkerbell as a name).

Have you considered getting a female if you like the name that much? There's not that much difference in their behaviors, and if you like to dress up your dog in clothes (which is true of many little-dog owners), you'll find cuter stuff for girl dogs than for boy dogs.

Well. The pooch will be your partner.Loyal, and anxious to greet you when you come home.Go for walks.(A best friend).Would you name your son Tinkerbell?Or introduce him as such. Then again. We are talking about a dog.I really don't think the other dogs in the park will make fun of him,or whisper behind his back.I actually think it's original.I say go for it.I think it's pretty cool.Remember that song by Johnny Cash?"A boy named sue"Your dog won't loose any dignity over it.I think you will both do just fine in life with the love a person and a dog have unconditionally.Besides.When you call him.You could just call Tinker. What do you think.

since its a guy dog tinkerbell might not be the best name for it. Why don't you name it peter pan or captain hook or some other guy name that is associated with tinkerbell.

this is funny because we have a Chi and, bless his heart, he lives in a family of women and should be gay. His name is Houdini, but we paint his nails and dress him up. He loves the attention though. Tinkerbell is a little scary for a male dog.
