By long haired I meant like the one on the westminster kennel club dog show last night. The hair was long like strands on a deck mop, but when I checked the web site for the working class 4th place dog, it did not show the dog with the long hair. You would have had to have seen the show the dog looked like something from the muppets show.

You're confusing the Kuvasz with the Komondor. The Komondor has what is known as a corded coat - it forms in long strands of mop like hair. Similar coats are found in Pulik, and poodles and Havanese may also be corded.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Kuvasz have soft med length coats, Komodor's have long corded, or deck mop, coats that touch the ground .... look for Komodors then.
