painful areas caused by arthritis, frozen shoulder,its attached to the skin by pads .where can one be bought ?and how much

You can't buy one. You need a prescription from your doctor to get it from a physical therapist. They rent it to you. You just buy replacement pads. Talk to your doctor/physical therapist.
Do NOT buy one online. You have no idea what you'd be getting. It could give you a terrible electo-shock. Please get one that you know is set right and won't hurt you.

A TENS machine is for the relief of pain,
you can get them from boots and some pregnant ladies use them to assist with labour.

Tens machine should be used with care .And where you put the pads on your body .You can by them at boots .

I've heard of a tens machine. You might be able to get one by speaking to your gp or enquiring at a pharmacy. You can probably buy them over the internet but I don't know how safe this is.

There are lots of TENS machines around, e bay has them for very reasonable prices.

a tens machine can be used for back pain in birth as i used one for both my births (early stages of labour).....they work very well
not sure how much have a look on a few web sites

I have one I bought from Boot for about 50 pounds. It works really well and helps because you can cut down on painkiller.
