I'm remodeling/redecorating the living room. Have new carpet that's beige with taupe tones to it, taupe walls and a dark taupe sectional with a hint of green to it. I love the sofa but am baffled as to what accent colors I should use in the room -- curtains, pillows, decor, etc. What do you all think?

Taupe loves:
- pure white paint
- dark stain wood
- purple undertoned natural linens
- stones that contain grey and blue
- metal such silver and chrome
- the combination of gray or brown
- dramatic accent of green, purple or red
- clear glass
Taupe hates:
- anything that contains yellow, such as buttery paint
- golden woods such as oak
- yellow hued linens
- tan leather
- stones that contain beige
- accessories that hint at yellow, such dark cream porcelain

Go with olive green, burgundy red, and a cream color(so you balance out the dark).
