Low fat diet, crunches and leg lifts as well as some running and swimming. Do crunches until they hurt, then take a break and do some more. You'll also have to cut off all foods high in fat such as cheese, whole milk, mayonnaise, salad dressing, any fried foods, cookies, pastries etc.
Keeping a low fat high protein diet, will help you trim fat and build lean muscle. The more lean muscle you have the more fat and calories you burn. Also stay away from drinks with lots of sugar like soda, fruit punches or sweetened iced teas.
Those fad diet and fat burning pills aren't a permanent solution. All they do is fill your body with caffeine and boost your metabolism. They will not work without a healthy diet and once you stop using them, you'll put on weight extremely fast.
If you want to have a trim midsection, and keep it that way, just eat healthy and exercise daily. You'll also feel much better.
It's a pain, I know, but that's why they say "no pain, no gain"

It depends on what you are willing to do and what kind of shape you are in. But aerobic exercises and running are the fasted and most effective way to lose weight. I did a program where I ran 1/2 of a mile every other day until I could do 5 miles. So at the end of 2 weeks I had burned off all the fat around my waist. Because when you run pyruvic acid is released into the muscles which breaks down fat cells. You can actually feel fat melt away when you get to the 3-5 mile mark. But like I said aerobics or running is the fasted and you can see significant results the same day depending on what you do.

if its just a little extra in the tummy area, it sounds like u need to tone what you have, not loose weight- try sit ups and walking- if the weight is truely a concern, try a 1200 calorie diet for 2 weeks- that should cut any fat you might actually have
combine the two tactics, and maintain the schedule -- you will never have to worry about fat or fit again

Supplement your daily fiber with 30 grams of fiber. My doctor says we all need that much. Its alot but it will help lower cholesterol and help you lose weight. Cut out sodas. Drink diet and unsweetened tea. Jog for at least 20 minutes every day. Start out slow. Do a few sit ups every day and eat healthy. If you want a really good diet Weight Watchers is good and very flexible. You can lose alot of weight and not be hungry.

cardio everyday 45 mins, at a range where you can keep a conversation with some effort, that's the range where you burn more fat... plus..... a well balanced diet, if you are strict, you can burn that fat.
