Chicken Parisienne (recipe from the small cookbook that came with my Crock Pot when I bought it, years ago!)
4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
salt, pepper, and paprika
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup flour
Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt, pepper and paprika. Place in slow cooker. Mix wine, soup and mushrooms until well combined. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or until chicken is tender.
Mix sour cream and flour together; add to the Crock Pot with chicken. Cook for about 30 minutes longer, until heated through.
Serve with rice or noodles.
Serves 4 to 6.

Beef Short Ribs, two cans of Campbell's Beef Broth and one can of Campbell's French Onion Soup.......sprinkle with garlic powder and cover, turn on HIGH for 10 to 12 hours.......I know it sound like a long time, but just wait, the ribs will be so tender you'll be looking out for when short ribs go on sale.........4 ingredients and lots of time.......Couldn't be simpler, takes about 5 minutes to put together..............then, go shopping (it is a sport, you know!!!) and come home to a wonderful, comfort-food aroma.......I hope you try this one out, it is TOO easy and gets rave reviews.....
