I have tried the website, buton installing, it takes half a second, and says its installed. But its not, as several things tell me its not and wont work.

Also, when installing shockwave, the page comes up, but thee install window does not appear. I try this a few times every day, and it worked once, but the browser didn't restart. Also, on looking at the page now, and other pages I get the 3 coloured shapes icon in the top left, and sometimes the red cross.

This is further to my previous question...

If you look at this previous problem, I have been also advised to remove the flash object in Internet Explorer Objects, then reinstall, but it wont come back.

Please help

I had this problem as well and it said something about java and refer to this link that wasn't helpful. There was something in my system that was wrong and no matter what I did or how many links I tried from the adobe site it didn't work. I reloaded windows in the end and it downloaded fine. Hope this helps.

PS. Try and stay away from dodgy websites which are easy to get onto from links from other sites etc. I now only come on here, ebay and shopping etc and have no problems with anything on my pc.

If this is Adobe then this is a standard problem as doing things such as clearing out temporary internet folders causes problems

You HAVE to uninstall anything you have but ONLY using the Adobe program to do so.

Go here and download the uninstall flash player and save it on your desktop.
