Changing my life style...excersising, getting in better shape, giving up starchy foods, breads and especially red meat. I want to start the right way and one method I am interested in is to cleanse my body, intestines...pretty much detoxify my body. Suggestions, please?

There are many colonic cleansers commercially available, and a variety of ways of getting the toxins out of your body.

I stay away from all of that, and stick to drinking green tea in the mornings (natural anti-oxidant) and cranberry juice in the afternoons and evenings (stay away from the sugary kinds - and keep on eye on the label, some 'cranberry' juice contains less than 5% actual cranberry juice). Drinking plenty of water is another often overlooked method of cleaning your body out. Take plenty of vitamins, and get regular exercise.

A lot of people end up making themselves sick, or creating other problems by attempting to do too much to 'cleanse' themselves (especially all at once). Remember to enjoy yourself - as your mental health is equally as important as physical health. Go out and have fun, don't always worry about counting every calorie or staying away from foods you want to eat. I hold that you can eat nearly anything (within reason) and as long as you stay physically active, you won't put on extra weight or have other health issues.

Hi,

I have been using Isagenix for about a year. I started with a 9 day program. But, depending on your health a 30 day may be better.
The 30 is a "gentler" cleanse with all the same products as the 9 day. I recommend the 30 day because it easier to change your habits over 30 days than 9 or 10.
As for other benefits,
I sleep like a baby...no lie. I had pretty bad insomnia b4.
I have more energy, mental clarity and no more aches and pains.I actually started to exercise again! I have a 4 year old boy so the energy comes in handy. Really the weight loss is a side benefit to cleansing the toxins.
The list goes on.....

Being a distributor gets you wholesale prices so it is worth it for that alone! If you happen to sell some to people, even better because it is money in your pocket.

Hope that helps, but feel free to contact me here:

Try "Colon Blow".

Phrases to remember before and during this cleansing:

1. Be no more than about 10 steps away from a toilet after taking. When it hits the first time, it will be immediate.

2. Be prepared to spend the day at home on the head. You may go 3-4 times in the first hour. Thereafter, it may be once an hour until your system is cleaned out.

3. Have plenty of toilet paper and reading material,

4. Have good plumbing. You may snap off a 2' coil the first time. If your plumbing is bad, you may be fishing it out by hand.

5. Don't be suprised by what you deposit. Have fun with it. Take a pic and send it to "RateMyPoo.com" and see what type of rating you get.

Happy Splashing :)

the best product i have ever used was Citromag.
you get it at the drugstore remember not to leave the house until you are completely cleaned out,
you can bet you will be as clean as a brand new baby its called Citric It has a very condensed citrus taste and it is very sour, it contains a lot of salt but it really works. Just drink it cold and don't be too far from a toilet.
then be very careful how you eat from that day on you will feel completely cleansed .

a healthy way is good ol' H20

there are many drug brands out ther like Go Cleanse and such and even that psycho guy on tv---oh jeez

i would definitely as your doctor and if you don't feel comfortable with that then try a pharmacist or even an employee at a store like GNC---afterall, they were trained to know what brands are more successful in such situations

master cleanse worked pretty well for me. but each person is different. i would suggest you do a lil resreach to make sure you understand fully what each method has to offer. it's a great thing you're not doin this to jus 'get thin quick.' i used the master cleanse to jumpstart my change in lifestyle and i feel fine. best of luck to you~!

Some people swear by enemas. You may want to go on a short juice fasting program.

Go to a health food store and ask them, but I have always just fasted. It does a good job if you haven't done too many bad things to your body.
