The only reason that I posted this question was to highlight the little known fact that the eyes can be effected dramatically by high levels of cholestrol. And that in some case the bad cholestrol cannot be avoided if it is a gene thing though it can be controlled by statins and good diet that ought to include things such a s green leafy vegetables.

So I think that everyone ought be screened automatically at say forty years of age for high cholestrol levels, so that it can be controlled if necessary.
I face an eye operation for macular puckering that has been caused by high cholestrol levels that were caused through not fault of my own. Not looking forward to it I can tell you.

yes it clogs up your arteries And puts you in danger of having a heart attack or stroke.You need to eat a low fat diet and eat plenty of fruit
