My puppy is nearly 6 weeks old and she just wont stop crying. She does it constantly.
Also, when she's playing, she jumps at my face and bites my nose.
Why is she crying and how do I get her to stop biting my face?

I should also add the reason I have her home at 6 weeks is because the mother stopped feeding her and would bite her whenever she tried to be fed.

Mom and siblings should be teaching her this now. This is why they should not be taken from their moms and siblings till 8 weeks!!! Unfortunately Im sure you got her from some hilljack that didn't think spaying and neutering was the right thing to do and was sick of puppy poo and pee and handed the problem over to you!!!
Best to be around other dogs to teach the pup but you need shots and a clean place with clean dogs!!!

The crying could be a sense of feeling alone, 6 weeks old is still pretty young. if the crying keeps up maybe take her to the vet for a check up. The biting can be controlled with a spray called Bitter Apple, found in pet stores, or a gentle slap on the nose with a very firm NO, should help.

I hope you've had a vet visit so that you can get some help with her. She is much too young to be on her own, which is alarming.
Never punish a puppy for playing. Ian Dunbar has written some great articles about how to stop puppy biting without having to scold or hit your pup.

Well, she is way to young to be away from her litter, so that explains the jumping and biting your face. that is a behavior that a puppy learns NOT to do from his mother and litter mates. because he was taken so early, now you need to teach him. when he does that, say "OUCH!" in a high pitched voice, loud enough to startle him a little. then get up and walk away. ignore him for about a minute and then go back to playing. this is similar to what his litter mates would do. he needs to learn that if he plays too rough he loses his playmate.
for the crying, i would suggest giving him a hot water bottle wrapped in a blanket in his crate, and maybe a ticking clock to sooth him to sleep.

6 weeks is too young to be away from siblings and Mom. Siblings and Mom teach bite inhibition.Since they are not around it will be up to you to teach this dog many things. As far as the crying,if you were taken away from your family and placed in a strange environment where nobody understood you wouldn't you be scared too?

smack her rear end and yell 'no' when she bites. it is possible she will never stop this behavior entirely. the crying part, well it sounds to me like your pup is spoiled rotten.put her in a large box with a heating with pad and something that hums or ticks, any low noise device and that should do the trick. only make sure she has no electrical wires where she can chew on them
