You actually will not make any more money......

if you are asking to put the dependents on the W4 form for the emplyer to calculate your withholding, you put 1 dependent instead of 0 will give you less withholding means you will get more money every pay check, however you will have to pay tax when you file tax return the next year. If you put 0 dependent, you will be withheld more money, but you might get some tax return while you file your tax next year, so it depends on you want the money now, or you want the money later.

As someone said before, It does depend on how much you make. It also depends on what state you file with too. I know that Georgia doesn't take out enough money for taxes during the year.

It also depends on how you file too. If you file head of household or single then you might want to consider leaving it off. If your married then yes definitely leave it off. You'll get it more back later or not have to pay at all.

Check your state and see how much you're paying in taxes now. Also see how much your income tax would be. Federal wise it always pays to not claim plus you could get all kinds of credit so it might not matter. Check the state sheets by going and downloading the forms for this year and also download the federal forms. Look though the section until you get to the taxes and print off that page. True taxes change from year to year but you'll have a good estatement,

Depends on how much you make. You will just get hardly anything back next year and/or end up owing money if you make to much. It really does not make in my opinion that big of a difference to have to worry about paying at the end of the year.
