It *is* possible to get around school firewalls, but I will not tell you how to do it.
Please be aware that it will be against the school rules and in some cases is a federal crime.
Use myspace at home and don't try to get around the school's security systems.

Here's a thought. Wait the 6+ hours until you get home.
I know HOW important it is to chat to 21 *cough*50*cough* year old girls/guys online while pretending to read in study hall. Trust me, i'm 22, i did it too.
Do something important in life. Guess what....School ALWAYS sucks, deal with it.
Be intelligent for once, and don't end up like all these other teens who get abducted after school or at the mall by someone they met online, who YOU thought was a cool person because they email you naked pics or IM you jokes and crap all day....chances are THEY'RE NOT!
Maybe they are, i don't know and i don't know you. But honestly, with all the stuff going on today, and all the sickos and sex-offenders in the world, is it really THAT important you'd potentially risk your life on it?

Ok so Im not "cursing you out" but I will say based on your grammar ans spelling you should pay attention in school and do your homework and not worry about how to get on myspace while your in a place where you are supposed to be learning. Besides if you get caught on a site you arent supposed to be on you are only going to get into trouble. Just log on to myspace at home and realize that the school is only trying to protect its students from the many freaks and weirdos on myspace.

I'm not here to curse you, though if you were my child, I'd make sure you weren't wasting time on the internet at school however I could. Maybe you should practice your spelling and grammar instead of surfing the net when you should be learning, it sure looks that way. "to get pass thoose..." yeah, needs work.

With your spelling and grammar you need to be paying attention in school not trying to get on myspace or any where else. Get to class so some day you might have some class.

2. schools have four layers of Internet filtering.
and invisible to pinging so unless you know the
IIS servers local IP forget it.
3. IIS servers have remote access disabled which means you must be in the server room terminal to edit dns filtering
4. and most have bio. lock-outs, so go back to learning and quit wasting away

i'm not going to curse you out but i will say that the schools have a good reason to block it. they are protecting you and others from predetors and be grateful. if it's that deep you can get on my space at home.it's not that deep. there are rules for a reason.

i agree too. myspace is really fun but its school. Your parents don't pay for your education so you could play on myspace. myspace is for friends to have fun in their free time. school is a place to learn and have fun. if you REALLY want to go on myspace, buy a labtop and go on it during break, don't let it interefere with your schoolwork.

my space is fun and all but do it at home and not at school .. they blocked it for a reason and you need to respect that... so study when you feel the need to disobey the rules
