Its time to wein and mom says spay me and get this sh*t off me
I find it easiest especially with large litters to feed canned to begin with. Once they are eating the canned without an issue slowly start adding dry puppy food and then start eliminating the canned.
Then at about six weeks take everyone to the vet for their first set of shots and spayed and neutered. My latest momma dog is at the vet with her babies getting spayed today and will be ready for adoption soon.

Thats a bit early for a female to stop feeding. Thats ok though. Start feeding the pups baby rice cereal with esbilac formula and some ground puppy food to a runny texture. This is how you weam a pup from the mother. Give the pups this 3 times a day then let them feed on mom. She will still feed them but not as oftern. As they get older lessen the cereal and formula and add more kibble untill its all kibble. As your transition water the kibble down to keep it soft. That way they dont get obstructions or have trouble chewing it.

Time to start providing moistened puppy food.
If you are going to feed kibble you can chop it up in the food processor and add water to it and serve it like soup to the pups until they get the idea that they like it then just get it wet soft and serve it to them.
We start our pups about three to four weeks on puppy food. By the time they are about five weeks old most are nursing only rarely if at all. They do gobble up the puppy food pretty fast.
With 12 you are going to need lots of puppy food.

At this age, their teeth are sharp and hurt and their nails are like needles. It would help the mom out if you clipped their nails - at this age, you can use human nail clippers. With that many puppies, I hope you're supplementing them to help the mom out. If not, you should start feeding them puppy formula a couple of times a day - you can teach them to lap it up out of a shallow dish. And in a few days they'll be old enough to be started on dry puppy chow that's been moistened with warm water. Feed them that a couple of times a day, too, and offer them fresh water as well.

They are ready for puppy food now, and the mom is weaning them. Switch to a moist puppy food and then gradually add dry food. They should be eating dry food on their own by 5 weeks of age.

at 3.5 weeks, you should try grinding up puppy food with water to feed the pups. I would think you'd have researched this. Feed the puppies so they don't starve please.

with the size of the litter it is not surprising that the mom is weaning them and wanting you to help teach them how to eat solid puppy food. my suggestion is try teaching them how to eat the soft food first. it will be better for all concerned that they are learning how to eat.
