I haven't flown in many years, and I've heard different variations of how I need to pack my thngs and what not to bring on the plane. Can someone give me a site or clarify what exactly I need to prepare for so I don't have anything taken?

The best site to visit regarding what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you in both your checked and carry on luggage, as well as what to expect at the airport as far as security is the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/
They are the organization that sets the regulations as well as employees the individuals that work at the security checkpoints.

Hope this helps and have a great trip!

west palm beach airport is one of the best I have ever been to. The traffic is light, and the airport is friendly and easy to navigate.

Just be careful on your carry-ons for security. No Lighters, shampoos and liquid items must be in a clear ziplock baggie and not over 3 ounces as a carry-on. Wear slip-ons to take off your shoes and don't overdo it on the jewelry. Other than that it is common sense. Pack your big toiletries, razors, scissors, naile files, and other items in your checked luggage.

You can't even bring a bottle of water through security anymore, so just stay away from liquids or sharp objects.

The government agency that makes these security regulations is the TSA. (www.tsa.gov) It's the same for every airport in the country.
