Ok so ofcourse my ex and I broke up about 3 months ago. You can say we officially broke up about one month ago. Shes about an hour from home at school. We were engaged to be married and I was very much inlove with her. I wasnt expect us to break up but sadly we did. We got into a bad arguement last week I didnt think we would ever speak to one another again but I emailed her and she responded she texted me on Saturday but I kept it brief. I love her completely she has expressed to me that she doesnt want to be with me and I know thats its over but I think of her every single day. I feel as though in time we will be together again what do I do. I've went out on dates but while Im on them all I think about is here. I just want to be able to breathe right now I feel as though I can't atleast not without her

I'm so sorry to hear this. Give yourself some room and space to grieve. It took me 6 months to smile after breaking up with someone I thought was my greatest love of my life, I really did and he hurt me unbelievably with his selfishness, w/ my kids and his cheating. You will grieve and mourn, as this loss is just like a death. It is normal and though it seems like your heart is falling apart and you will never smile again, I can assure you, you will. Take things slow and give yourself a break. surround yourself with positive friends and family. You will be fine, time heals all

Sadly, you have got a long while to go I am afraid... It's taken me over a year to start to get over my ex, and we were only together for a little more than a year. It varies with everyone, but it sounds like your relationship was quite intense.

Three things, be patient with yourself, NO CONTACT and hang in there! It will get better!

I am very sorry to hear about your split too by the way...

I know it might be very hard for you at this point but she has made it very clear the she DOES NOT want to get back togther with you...so what you need to do now is get her out of your mind, try going on a vacation or find a hobby that you like and put all of your effort into it and before you know it you won't be thinking of her.

I am still in love going on three years now after parting. This is what we get for being honest about how we feel.

It takes time. Just take your time. you may be together again, you may not. Time will only tell.
But if not you may eventually get over her. You may never get over her....but even so you will eventually be able to move on.
