I wrote this exactly three years and one month ago (14.1.04) and I think its pertinent to this question.
The way I went on my final day
Was the way I wanted, the humanist way.
I didn't expect to experience more
Death was the end ... not a door.
But, in what form, I do not know.
A 'being' gestured for me to ... go.
Was I alive? Was it a trick?
Was there a switch that needed a flick?
This couldn't be happening - it wasn't real.
An angel couldn't have just said ... "Kneel!"
Then a voice boomed .. "My love is a fact."
See what joy in life you lacked.
You refused to believe that I exist,
See, even now, you still resist.
You can't plead ignorance, you read my Word,
You might have read but you never heard.
You made your choice, now I have none.
You have Eternity to know you're wrong.
The ground opened up and I fell through
I finally realised where I was going to.
That's the final part in a trilogy I call Judgement Day.

You feel to be proud being atheist. If you do not believe in God's existence, the second "if" should not haunt you at all.It is advisable that you should secure yourself for this second and try to live in peace without procative slanders. It is nice to be good well mannered folk instead of a diffident abusive rogue.

first find out if you as an entity really exist. The body is a psychosomatic apparatus maintained by the food the mother consumed when in the womb and now by you.Even the sperm comes from the food the father consumed. So to which food do u identify yourself too.Remove this notion of this me as entity and what is left is the truth.Only HE

By the time you were faced with a 'Rude Awakening' it would nbe too late to do anything about. The Bible says "repent and be Baptised", In Jesus Name. Just as an after-thought; what are you going to do, when you find He wxists?

If I found that God did in fact exist I would accept it and carry on.
But since God does not exist I will carry on anyway.

I'd probably try to have him impeached for abuse of power in a public office.
