Now we're talking !!!

Being from Scotland that's what we call fish & chips to all those none scottish people..

Having lived in London for the past 10 years I recall walking into a chippy in London for the first time and asking for a fish supper !!!

The owner looked at me with a blank face and replyed you would like 1 fish to eat later for your supper, any chips with it !!!!!!

Who cares the amount of calories there are, live for today and think about that next week.

Well it depends on what supper is, the type of fish ect.
If you made it yourself then this is a great website (you type in the ingredients and how much you had and it tells you all the nutritional info like calories and stuff)

Lots of answers, some with web sites that will help answer the calories per type of fish. If you are counting calories Steam or Broil the fish and you will get an excellent protein source with very few calories. Pan frying, deep frying and dipping the fish in sauces add many useless calories.

Fish is good for you. It is what you have with it that adds calories. If you have to have a sauce, fats. If you just use relish instead of tartar sauce, save calories. Baked potato, good, sour cream and butter, fat calories. Green beans are free! Salad is good, use a lite dressing. Drink water or plain tea.

Another problem is few know how big a serving is. For the fish it is 2 to 3 ounces. Restaurants serve twice that.

It depends on the fish, the breading, what it was cooked in, what sides come with it and what the ingredients are of the sides and how they were cooked as well as how big of a portion each item is.

Don't count calories it doesn't develop a healthy relationship with food. Just eat in moderation, and only eat when you are hungry. You can eat all types of food as long as you eat a moderate amount.

Depends on what type of fish you are using and what ingredients you flavor the fish with.
