what i am curious about is how did everything come into existence such as outer space and the sun and moon and stars and the planets such as earth and everything of that sort in general. also can you explain to me more about evolution i am totally curious about all of these things. and i'm also curious if you actually believe that something can come from nothing? and if you can state your sources or even leave links as well thanks. i know that this is a broad questions but it's gonna require some broad answers thank you. this question can be answered by anybody who understands science not necessarily atheists but agnostics and everyone else as well all are welcome to answer as long as you will stay on subject.

In physical cosmology, the Big Bang is the scientific theory that the universe emerged from a tremendously dense and hot state about 13.7 billion years ago. The theory is based on the observations indicating the expansion of space in accord with the Robertson-Walker model of general relativity, as indicated by the Hubble redshift of distant galaxies taken together with the cosmological principle.Extrapolated into the past, these observations show that the universe has expanded from a state in which all the matter and energy in the universe was at an immense temperature and density. Physicists do not widely agree on what happened before this, although general relativity predicts a gravitational singularity. The term Big Bang is used both in a narrow sense to refer to a point in time when the observed expansion of the universe (Hubble's law) began-calculated to be 13.7 billion (1.37 × 1010) years ago (±2%)-and in a more general sense to refer to the prevailing cosmological paradigm explaining the origin and expansion of the universe, as well as the composition of primordial matter through nucleosynthesis as predicted by the Alpher-Bethe-Gamow theory. From this model, George Gamow was able to predict in 1948 the existence of cosmic microwave background radiation. The CMB was discovered in 1964 and corroborated the Big Bang theory, giving it more credence over its chief rival, the steady state theory.

I read an interesting book once which was later made into a video, "Awakening to Zero Point". I remember that he explained, and even showed how perhaps each of us individually are indeed a universe. In the video he showed how everything including our bodies are all made up of frequency and vibration. And how this was an infinate process. Much to complex to explain on this arena. You may want to see the video yourself one day. It may even be available in DVD now.

What does it mean to be living in a microcosmic solar system or solar ring made up of many planets which are considered to be cosmic stepping stones? And this solar ring itself merely a microcosm of an unimaginably vast existence.

If you by chance, one day in the middle of your lifetime being yourself doing what you always do, a pause happens: a gap in consciousness during which an unsettling feeling comes over you. Followed by such thoughts as, "Who am I really?" or "Oh my God, what am I doing here?" or you put down the newspaper or turn off the television, and say silently, "There has to be more to life than this." If this is where you might be at this time I will suggest a few books for you to start with. If everything else you've heard about evolution has made no sense to you or just doesn't quite feel complete. This might be an avenue that may help you sort out some of the questions you may be having, with answers you may never have heard before.

If you'd like a galactic perspective with a fascinating chronicle of human evolution, with a chronicle of colonization of planets such as Venus, Mars, Earth and more... with a wider history of our solar system, then read the books below.

I don't know, I don't think anyone could be completely sure as we weren't there and it was so long ago that normal historical techniques wouldn't work (plus no humans were around obviously.) However, I agree with the Big Bang theory, that pure, compact energy had something happen to it (again, I don't know what) that made it explode into the universe. Elements started to form (I think hydrogen is supposedly first) and stars etc began to form... But there are many gaps in my knowledge as I don't study science any more. I don't believe that something can come from nothing. But I believe there has always been something, perhaps the energy that created the universe.

Impossible for me to even start on...

I am not an atheist, but I can tell you right off the bat the most common answers you get from atheists will be:

1. big bang (with no explanation of what this really means).

2. It doesn't matter because we may never know. Why say it was God when there's no evidence for it?

3. It was a coincidence with things in the right place at the right time. Like an accident.

4. Here's a science book for you to read about it (if you're "smart" enough).

I've already asked this question. I get the same "bright" answers each time.

Atheists: Why are you ignoring my question here:

Edit: The "answer" below by Art has been cut and pasted at least twice. It is being widely used to "extrapolate" from a theory how the universe began but explains nothing about where the matter, gases, or energy came from.

Look at our universe as the chalkboard that has a beginning, but keeps getting longer in one direction every moment. Think of God as outside of the chalkboard and he can see everything all out once, and can move around in every direction as far as he desires.
You see our universe had a beginning, because you cannot go back infinetly. It would have taken an infinite amount of time to reach this point. However once the universe begins, it can keep moving forward forever. This is the same for humans, who were created. This can not be said for God because he dwells outside of our universe in which he can be in atleast two dimension of time. Therefore he can see everything all at once, and is infinite in nature.

Study these sites and understand how much problems Evolutionist really have.

In short, scientists aren't totally certain of how the big bang came to be. This doesn't however mean that "therefore Jesus must have magiced it."

Back in the day, because we didn't understand ocean currents, it didn't therefore mean that Posideon was really moving things along with that giant pitchfork.

This is the problem with your question: you think the universe was just created somehow. What some people cannot grasp is that the universe has always existed. There was no beginning and there will be no end. It is infinite.

The Big Bang. I was watching a special on National Geograhic and it 'attempted' to explain the birth of the universe and eventually the death of it.

There are literally billions of people who want(ed) to know the same thing. Still, noone does and probably won't for a long long time.
If you find out, though, holla!

Some molecules just happened to fall into place and it started all life. and the vastness of trillions of stars have just been here that's all. then it all evolved and got better and better cuz that's how everything works. This is what the enlightened ones tell us, Then they walk outside and can't find their car.
