ok . . . i'm no longer gonna bypass with the cop-out "It would not exist that way so i can not imagine it" garbage. no longer in trouble-free terms that, i'm gonna bypass with decision C, a diverse type of god. A god, singular nonetheless, no longer a pantheon or some thing, and who cares what gender if any. A god which will be communicated with one-on-one, face-to-face, seen and audible and all that. A god that needed to be completely understood this aspect of eternity. *completely* understood. A god that would let us know why. i imagine, and certain, I do experience so formidable (lol), that many atheists . . . and that i'd be incorrect, so undergo with me the following . . . are not waiting to make certain the will of the God of the former testomony. Heck, many Christians can not see that necessity, and to be completely honest, i'm no longer particular that i can clarify it properly myself. that is needed that i can cope with in my head and between me and God, yet want to learn more beneficial myself to describe it properly to others, even to different Christians. yet yeah, tremendous question.

You are seriously asking this question?
Just so you know the only way to know is to die and not go anywhere.
We will be dead, we will not be doing anything.
What answer were you expecting? We would cry, be so sorry we wasted life on believing in a loving God and rejoicing in Jesus as a savior. Be sorry that we lived a good life knowing that no matter what God was on our side. That when the chips were down and no one else cared God was on our side.
Pretty sure we would just be dead. Lying in some grave.
OH- Its not gonna happen though. There is a God and I know there is and anyone with the Holy Spirit living in their hearts know there is. Honey you are missing so much if you don't know God.
I am a new Christian of about 8 years. I am 32 now. I knew life before and i know life now. It hasn't gotten any easier but let me tell you - I have someone to turn to that won't tell me secrets and won't betray me and won't every stop loving me.
Man its awesome.

The vast majority of all religions believe there is a God and only one God, so why you single out Christians is beyond me?
Your question is a very valid one.
I am atheist!
For many years I have been trying to work out the answer to these 2 questions:-
What would it take to prove to all these religious folk that there is no GOD?
What would it take to prove to me that there is a God?
No matter what sort of fantasy you (or I) come up with it just cant be done, think it over, if you ever do come up with an answer please let me know.
There have been many reasonable theories to 'prove' (to an extent) that the New Testament is a load of hog wash.
This comes nowhere near to 'proving' there is no God.
I really would like to come up with a scenario which would really convince people , but no way!

I don't think that this "what if" could happen. Let me explain, all deities exist simply because people believe in them. Belief will ignore positive proof of non existence. Only when belief disappears will the deity cease to exist. As the belief reduces then the deity loses its power over the population. No Western religion worship the sun god for example. There may be some believers but in general the sun god has ceased to exist. Therefore even if you were to find "proof" the believers wont accept it, it then follows that God (for them) exists

If God doesn't exist? I probably would not act that much different, since I actually like helping other people, being honest, having a solid work ethic, and trying to act considerate (moral) of other people in general.
If some other religion was the right one, then I suppose I would start worshiping the right god. No point in praying to someone who does not exist; imaginary gods cannot hear you, or do anything about it.

Questions like this are abrasive because it is like asking someone who has a Headache "What would you do if you found out that your head really didn't hurt?"
If I may take it a step further. Have you ever seen or heard something that you knew would fix a problem but the person experiencing the problem flat out refuses to acknowledge that you have a fix for it? That is the hardest thing about Walking with Jesus.

1) If it turned out that there was proof that God didn't exist, then I would stop believing. But you can't prove a negative.
2) If it turned out that another religion was the correct one, that wouldn't bother me a bit. All religions teach essentially the same practical application. The only differences are either semantic or theoretical.

Good question. My guess is that you wont have many answers to your question. Anything that makes them feel uncomfortable or have to see life from a different angle they shirk from and avoid.
To answer your question they would probably find some excuse to avoid this like they did with Evolution. There is undeniable proof out there (that the rest of the world accepts as truth) that the world started in another way other than the creation story, and they just twist words and times around to prove that it was god after all, to prove to themselves that it was their belief. Until you get enough people willing to believe in another way, you wont get truth. Although Christianity is pushing away many people because of their up tight strictness in everything. I have counted many Pagans who have grown up part of the christian church only to convert because of the lack of humanity in the christian church.

As long as humans start off as infants and have the ability to invent new ideas, there will always be some immature emotional needs to create supernatural scenarios,if you happen to take one away, another will take it's place. But hopefully those people will be the minority.
A mature adult knows the difference between an emotional need and reality.
