17...there is no "normal" age, and you can look up the "average" age but it's going to be too young...

Sex not occur before:
1. You are ready to deal with a pregnancy, should it occur
2. You are ready to deal with an STD, should it occur
3. When you know how a woman can become pregnant (all the ways it can occur)
4. When you know what the various STDs are and how they are transmitted and how to help protect against them
5. When you are ready to insist your partner wear a condom
6. When you are on a reliable form of birth control and using it properly
7. When you are ready to deal with any emotional issues that may come from being intimate with another person
Until you've got those things covered, you should not have sex.

Some people might judge me when I say this, but it was when I was 17. Previously though, I was waiting for me to be at least 19. But I guess things happen when you least expect it. I kind of told myself that I only wanted to have sex with one person my whole life. I am still with that guy now, we are definitely in love.

But I would say that there is no normal age, unless you are like 12 or something, than it wouldnt be normal to be having sex.

But other than that whenever you're in love, that is hard though. Because love can only be felt, and sometimes a person might mistaken intense infatuation as Love.

Wait it out, and dont force anything, let it happen at the most natually time, and comfortable time for the both of you.

I really hate the word "normal"... There is no normal age, but please make the decision for yourself and not out of pressure from anyone!!! Don't do it just because everyone else is doin' it... Don't do it because you feel like you're getting to the age that you feel it should be done either- Make an informed decision and really care about yourself and the person you decide to lose it to..... I was 19

There is no normal age for this. Soon as you understand the consequences, the risks and the precautions to be taken, you are ready. Remember that sex is just like any other human need. Like food and water.
