If you are an American, whatever you do please buy an American made car. Support our economy!
I love Saturn and have owned two. I am sure you could find one in your budget. The Ford Fusion, is a pretty sweet looking car too.
Good luck!

If you are considering all the options in this range for money, value, dependability and overall performance then I would strongly recommend The Chevy lineup......in this immediate range of up to $19,0000 you can get a excellent car for the money with the longest warranty in the country(no additional fees like Hyundai,Honda, toyo,) There is 3 product lines to choose from: The Aveo, the Cobalt, the HHR all have great gas mileage and fit your needs to a tee.......for alittle more you can get a a small SUV like a Equinox or maybe even a Trailblazer too.....plus a 100,000 mile warranty and available 0% financing options are on for Presidents Day too......Good Luck!!

Well, it depends on what type of vehicle you are looking for, car or SUV? If you want a good car, I would say a '03-'05 Toyota Camry or a '99-'2004 Nissan Pathfinder if you want an SUV. Both are very reliable makes and models. I hope this has helped you.

Nissan Versa would be a great car for you. They have all you are looking for and more. If you go to nissan.com you can request information on them and they will send you a really cool pamphlet.
These are great on gas and very roomy, plus the interiors are awesome. You can even get one with added features for less than 19K.

I despise GM, but I've had two pontiacs (97 Grand Am & 01 Grand Prix) and had no problems with either one.
