Im certain its a sign of being shy, uncertain, timid, & bashful. Have you ever seen Memoirs of a Geisha? The geisha would look down as a sign of being shy & embarrassed yet demure & captivating. It makes you think that she is shy & too embarrassed to look you in the eye & make you wonder what shes thinking.
Its actually very flattering for a girl to look away when eye contact is made. It means that shes interested in you but too shy or timid to act upon it.

As a shy person by nature, I look away or down when someone looks at me because direct eye contact makes me uncomfortable. It could also mean she likes you.

She's shy. I'm like that, I look down when someone is looking at me because I feel insecure about it when I like the person.

I am not sure, but when a guy looks down I take it to mean, " Hey, I am guilty." Now this may be because that person has just realized he/she is madly in love with you.

I would say that she's probably shy nd cant easily look u in the eye. so did read too much into it yeh.

You're reading into it too much. Women don't think like men. Chances are she's looking at your shoes, not your package.
